Setup

-A pitcher/ bottle of whatever you’re gonna drink.
-One empty glass per person playing.
-One glass with two dice.

Rules to drink by

Learned this game in China while I lived there. Rules are pretty simple :

Everyone fills their glass about 1/2 way. Then whoever’s going first shakes the glass, and you look at the dice.

-A 7 means that you fill the glass a little more.
-An 8 means that you drink half of whatever you have.
-A 9 means that you drink the whole glass.
-If you roll Snake Eyes, you get to choose who has to down their glass. People feeling prickish can choose everyone 😀

Short explanation of the 789 thing : 7 sounds like ‘a little’ in Mandarin slang. 8 sounds like ‘1/2’, and 9 sounds like ‘drunk’. So there you go.
