It’s a mystery
Setup
Lots and lots of colourless shots (Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Sambuca…)
Shots of water
No plans for the following couple of days…!
Rules to drink by
Pour out lots of shots of the different spirits (preferably about 4 types) and arrange them at random on a table. No-one should know which one’s which. Include plenty of shots of water in there too.
One player (let’s call him Dave) gets up, takes a shot, and asks a player of his/her choice (Sandra), “what is it?”. Everyone sings the song (“It’s a mystery, it’s a mystery”… I’m sure you can make up a tune for that). Dave drinks the shot, and Sandra has to work out what it was purely from his reaction. If she’s wrong, she’s up. If she’s right, he starts again. (Smell the empty glass to verify what it was).
Things that make this good are (a) bad bluffing and (b) playing with someone who REALLY hates one of the drinks…!
Experience suggests this game goes VERY fast and only stops when the bottles are empty!
