Die Hard the Drinking Game

Setup

Die Hard DVD, lots of beer, two shots of your favorite liquor, friends who know the movie well, the ability to sleep in the next day, a dedicated appreciation for Bruce Willis’ finest film. *Note: This movie is based during Christmas time, therefore it can be used as a holiday drinking game.

Rules to drink by

1. Drink every time Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” is played in some form during the movie.
2. Drink every time a terrorist dies.
3. Every time there is an explosion during the movie, drink.
4. Any time Bruce Willis lights his cigarette lighter you drink.
5. Any time you see the terrorist that looks like Huey Lewis, everyone in the group must sing a line from a Huey Lewis and the News tune–last one to sing must drink…heavy! (no one can sing the same tune)
6. Every time you see and exterior shot of the Nakatomi building, you must drink. (Combined with rule 3 will create waterfall when the top of Nakatomi building is blown up.)
7. Any time you hear anyone say “Yippy kai yeah mutha…” everyone must finish their drink–last one to finish their drink, must take a shot.

Special Rules for Advanced Fans only:
-Drink when Bruce says “F**kin California”
-Drink when they say “Send in the car.”
-Drink when they say “Lose the grid, or lose your job”
-Drink when they say “Shut it down, shut it down now”
-Drink when they say “Just like f**kin Saigon, eh slick?”–Someone in the group must reply “I was in junior High D**khead”
-Drink when Bruce looks at the pinups and says “Girls”
