Setup

deck of cards, a big cup filled with drink of choice (usually a blend of whatever beer everyone in the room is drinking), and a beer for everyone playing

Rules to drink by

Place filled cup in the center of the table.
Spread cards face down on the table around the cup.
Players take turns picking cards up from the table.
Before a player picks up a card, he guesses if it’s going to be black or red.
If the player is correct, he gets to tell someone of his choice to take the amount of drinks that corresponds with the number on the card (J=11, Q=12, K=13, A=14).
If the player is wrong, he/she takes that many drinks.
Then, the player tries to balance the card on the edge of the cup, two corners must hang off the side.
This continues around the circle, until someone knocks the cards down off the rim of the cup.
The person who knocks them down loses, and has to finish the contents of the cup in the middle.

2 or more players, the more the merrier
