Rules to drink by

As others have explained: 15 cards are laid out facedown in a pyramid (1 card at the top, 5 at the bottom). The rest are dealt out as evenly as possible among the other players. To begin play, turn over one card on the bottom row. Anyone who has a card of the same number can assign a drink (house rules as to what a “drink” is; one sip of beer is most common) to someone else (or two or three if they have more than one of that value). Continue this way for the bottom row. Each card in the next row is worth two drinks, next row 3, on up to 5 for the last card. Here’s the important part, though: THIS IS A BSing GAME! Hide the cards in your hand, and if you think you can get away with it, assign people drinks even if you don’t have a match. If they call you on a bluff you drink what you told them to; calling you a liar when you do have the card means they drink double.

Drunker Faster variant: the bottom row is still worth 1 drink and the second two. The third is four drinks per card, the fourth eight, and the top card 16. Or, if you won’t remember that, just double each row’s value (2,4,6,8, and 10)
