Setup

14 – 16oz Plastic Cups, Divider, Beer, Table, and 2 – Grid sheets(5×5 grids, 25 total squares, squares large enough to fit plastic cups in, grids should be marked numbers 1 through 5 going across and A through E going down, like a battleship game board).

Rules to drink by

There’s a Beer Battleship game floating around, which is trash (there is already a beerpong, we don’t need another version). If you want to play Beer Battleship the real version, here’s the real deal, Beership.

First set up grids on a table like battle ship, place divider in the middle of two grids. Each team gets 3 ships to place. 2 – 2 ships (destroyers) and 1 – 3 ship (cruiser) on the grids in a battleship like fashion. One of the destroyer’s cups is filled entirely with beer. The other two ship’s cups are filled halfway with beer. Coin toss determines first team to go. Each team takes turns choosing the grid spaces where the other team’s ships are. For each part of the ship that is destroyed the team owning the ship must drink the beer. It must be announced when a ship has been sunk and/or hit. First team sinking all of their opponents ships wins. Loosing team drinks all remaining ships on table.

Teams can be from 1 to 3 people. Teammates take turns choosing grids and drinking beers. Game made up by – Lakeland Beerfest www.myspace.com/lakelandbeerfest
