BEER OLYMPICS GEORGIA
Setup
8 ping pong balls, 2 8ft tables (min),4 pitchers, 12 quarters, 100 (atleast) solo cups, baseball bat, funnel and lots of beer
Rules to drink by
We need at least 12 solid competitors but could use as many as 32.
The events take about 4 hours to complete
BEER OLYMPICS should be made up of 4 teams. It can vary how many players on each team. Ideally 3-5 (But can have 2-8 players per team) players per team. Teams should be equal.
Since there are 4 teams there has to be 2 head to head battles for each event and then, a final for each event. Some events work a little different (Beirut, Team Keg Stand and Final event relay race)
There are 8 events and you keep score for your teams. You get points for each event
3 points for 1st,
2 points for 2nd,
1 point for 3rd
0 points for last
*Except for the final event (Relay Race) which is worth double points.

4. ANCHOR MAN
5. TEAM SPEED QUARTERS
6. BATTLESHIP
7. TEAM KEG STAND CHALLENGE
8. SUPER DUPER RELAY RACE
If I were to rank the games Baseball would be the least fun but we need 8 events
First Event
Team FLIP Cup (Best of 5)
Relay race against an opposing team.
Two tables are needed so that teams 1v4 and 2v3 can play at same time.
The team on each table that wins plays head to head (Best of 5)
The team on each table that loses plays head to head (Best of 5)
How to play:
1 team lined up on each side of the table (as shown below)
1X TT 1Y
2X TT 2Y
3X TT 3Y
4X TT 4Y
X=team 1 TT=Table Y=Team 4
Play with the same number of players on each team. Try to use your entire team here.
Each player has their own SOLO cup that is about 1/3-1/2 full with beer.
On go each teams #1 player (1x vs 1Y) chugs there cup as fast as they can. When finished they put the cup at the end of the table and try to flip it on its top. Once your team member flips the cup on its top the next player on the team can start chugging and repeat the rest of the way. You can not go until your team member finishes his drink and flips the cup. The first team to have all their team members do it wins the 1st of the best our of 5 competition.
Repeat but the only difference is that instead of #1 on each team starting the race #2 is to start, followed by number 3, and the last person to go is number 1.
Then, on the third heat #3 starts, followed by number 4, then number 1 and finally #2.
Obviously you keep rotating every round.
First team to win 3 then faces the winner of the other table and the losing teams face each other for 3rd and 4th.
IF YOU LIFT YOUR CUP FROM THE TABLE BEFORE YOUR TEAMATE IS COMPLETELY DONE FLIPPING THEIR CUP IT IS A PARTY FOUL. (refer to Party Foul Rules)
SECOND EVENT
BASEBALL (9 innings)
Teams 1v3 compete against each other and 2v4 compete against each other
Line up 4 Solo cups back to back (As shown below by the X’s)
X 4 RUNS
X 3 RUNS
X 2 RUNS
X 1 RUN
Each Solo cup should be about a 1/3 full
Set your lineup which is everybody on your team.
Flip a quarter on which team wants to go first.
If you bounce a quarter in a cup your get the Runs associated with that cup.
The other team drinks what is in the cup the same as there batting order.
If you miss then you have registered an out.
You get 3 outs per inning.
We play 9 innings.
After nine innings at up your scores and the two winning teams play each other for 1st and 2nd and the two losing teams play for 3rd and 4th.
IF YOU BAT OUT OF ORDER (PARTY FOUL)
Third Event
BEIRUT (aka BEER PONG)
Beer Pong is a 2 on 2 game. If there are 4 people on your team then your team has 2 beer pong teams. So if you have even teams this is easy, but if you have odd numbers that person can take a break and root on the team. If you have odd numbers this helps out the light weights who need a break from drinking.
Important: Even though you are competing for the King of Beirut only 1 team per team actually gets points for the Beer Olympics. So if your team has 2 Beirut teams and one places 1st and one places 3rd you will only get the points for finishing first. The team who finishes fourth will then get the points for 3rd place if they have not placed. Your name will still show that you finished third but the next closest team gets the points.
Copy this link for a http://www.drinkingstuff.com/beerpong/bracket/ for a beer pong bracket. You can rank your teams by drawing team names out of a hat.
Ground Rules
1. The point of the game is to throw the Ping Pong balls overhand into your opponent’s cups.
2. There is no leaning over the table. Your elbow should not cross over the table.
3. You can bounce the ball but once the ball is bounced off the table the other team can block it.
4. Only Girls can Blow. If the Ping Pong ball is shot and is rimming around inside the cup before it hits the beer a girl can try to blow it out. If a guy tries to blow it out they are gay and they have committed a Party Foul.
5. If you overthrow the table without touching a cup or the table (airball) you have to drink one of your own cups. (Except on the last cup. If you overthrow and you only have one cup left you can’t lose on a overthrow.)
6. If both you and your partner hit your shots you get throwbacks.
7. You must drink the beer you are responsible for before you shoot your next shot. Pouring into overflow cups is not acceptable.
8. The losing team always gets last shot. If they both hit their shots they get throwbacks.
9. If the losing team ties the game it goes to a 3 cup overtime. Same rules
10. If you hit an empty cup you have to drink one of your own cups
11. The losing team drinks all remaining beer on the table.
12. If the beer that is hit by a ping pong ball falls over and the ball bounces out within 5 seconds of hitting the cup then it does not count and the beer is to be refilled.

Now Lets Get Started
How to play
Line up your cups on either end of the table. The last row should be at the end of the table. Each team’s cups should look like this
x
xx
xxx
xxxx
Each team has 10 Solo Cups filled with beer about 1/3-½ full.
The higher seeded team always shoots first. (or you could make up your own way)
So with 2 on 2 teams each player shoots once.
If you hit the cup the other team drinks the cup that was hit.
You keep empty cups in the game till there are only 6 cups on your side that still have beer. (This is how the first rerack should look at the end of the table)
x

xxx
Then you keep the empty’s in the game until there is only 4 cups filled with beer on your side. (this is how the rerack should look Diamond shape)

From this point every cup that is hit you have a rerack. Make sure the back cups are at the end of the table

Fourth Event
ANCHOR MAN (Best out of 3)
This is 1v2 and 3v4 the winner of each table plays in the final and the losers play for 3rd and 4th.
In this event you would line up like you do for the 1st event Flip cup. In this event you fill up a ½-1 pitcher of beer for each team.
It works like a relay race
The object of the game is to finish your team’s pitcher before the opposing team finishes their pitcher.
The key is to work as a team and this game is called anchor man here is why
Let’s say you have 4 teammates when the game starts
The first person drinks as much as they can or as little whatever they want to do.
The 2nd teammate does the same
So on with the 3rd teammate.
The 4th teammate (the anchor man) has to finish whatever is left. It could be nothing or it could be the whole damn pitcher.
The first team with the empty pitcher wins. Best out of 3
Even if your team loses your team has to finish your beer in the pitcher. If not, then this is a Party Foul for the entire team. No Exceptions
FIFTH EVENT
TEAM SPEED QUARTERS (Best out of 3)
1vs4 2vs3 The winning team from each table plays in the final.
Teams line up on either end of the table like you would for games like Flip Cup.
There are 3 cups in the middle of the table filled 1/3 with beer each which both teams are shooting at.
This is a knock out game so what happens is that you have 1 person from each team start and go head to head for best out of 3.
The goal of the game is to sink the last cup with a quarter.
When the ref says go both players from each team can start bouncing their quarters at the 3 cups until one of the players hits a cup. Once a player hits a cup the other person must stop bouncing their quarter and drink the cup that was just hit by the other competitor. While this is happening the other player can still be bouncing their quarter to try to get it in the next cup. When the person who is drinking is done drinking they can then continue to bounce their quarter as long as the other competitor has not hit another while they were drinking. The winner of the game is the competitor who hits the last cup (3rd cup). You can only hit the last cup and be declared the winner.
The losing competitor is then eliminated and the next game is a different competitor from each of the two teams. If you win you are not eliminated you can go again if it comes back to your turn. But everybody on your team must have gone first.
For example:
If each team has 4 players on it.
The first 4 heaps should be players going for the first time. If you lose (best of 3) you don’t play in the next round. If your team wins all 4 of the first 4 the match is over. If your team wins 3 out of 4 that means that the other team only has one competitor left because the other 3 lost and he then has to beat your 3 teammates that are left who won their matches. The winning team plays the winning team from the other table in the final and the 2 losing teams play each other for 3rd and last.
SIXTH EVENT
BATTLESHIP (Compares to JENGA sorta) (Best of 7)
This game is very easy and a lot of fun.
Teams 1v3 and 2v4 face each other with the winners playing against each other in the final and the losers playing for 3rd and last
Teams 1 and 3 for example circle up together having an opposing team member next to you. (Example below)
1 3
3 1
1 3
3 1
There is a pitcher of beer in the middle of the table that is ¾ filled with beer.
Then there is a cup floating on top of the beer with about a 1/3 cup of beer in it.
Teams take turns going around in a circle and trying to fill the beer up as far as possible without sinking the cup of beer in the middle to the bottom of the pitcher.
If your team sinks the cup in the pitcher the person who sank the cup has to pull it out and drink it and your team loses that round.
Keep playing to a best of seven.
SEVENTH EVENT
TEAM KEG STAND CHALLENGE
Each member of team does a keg stand. For as little or as long as they would like. You can do it for 1 second or you can go for the record. At the end we will add up all the times from your team and the team with the most time above the keg wins the team keg stand challenge. Pretty simple
EIGHTH EVENT FINAL EVENT
FUNNEL RACE (DUBBLE POINTS)
This is like multiple choice on what you want to do. All 4 teams compete and all members on each team compete.
Line up in teams in a straight line. You have to run to a designated area spin on a bat 5 times and then pick one (before hand so it is ready when you go):
FUNNEL
SHOTGUN
CHUG (Out of a SOLO cup)
Finish it and run and tag your teammates.
Keep going till your entire team goes.
Fastest time wins
DOUBLE POINTS
PARTY FOULS (EXPLAINED THROUGHOUT)
THE PERSON WHO COMMITS THE PARTY FOULS IS ORDERED TO SHOT GUN OR FUNNEL A BEER BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE HAPPENS. NO EXCEPTIONS. IF PARTY FOULER DOES NOT WANT TO DO IT THEIR ENTIRE TEAM IS DISQUALIFIED. IT’S LIKE TESTING POSITIVE FOR STERIODS. YOU WILL BE BANNED AND ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY. NO EXCEPTIONS
