Rules to drink by

This game is a hybrid between the board game Battleship and the College game Beer Pong. The object of the game is to sink your opponent’s battleship before they sink yours (and get them wasted).

SETUP

• Two teams of three arrange 16 cups in a 4×4 square. Ten cups are filled with beer and serve as “white pegs” and six cups are filled with water and serve as “red pegs”.

• The “red pegs” must be arranged in Battleship fashion: there must be a three cup “battleship”, a two cup “submarine”, and a one cup “dingy”. Ships should be arranged out of the view of the other team and cannot be placed diagonally.

EXAMPLE

0 0 0 X
X X 0 X X = Water Cups ("Red Pegs")
0 0 0 X 0 = Beer Cups ("White Pegs")
X 0 0 0

RULES

• One person throws a ping pong ball at the opponent’s cups per turn. If a ping pong ball makes it into a cup, the opponent says if it is a “white” or “red” peg.

• If the cup is “white” it is considered a miss and the person that shot the ball has to drink the beer in the cup. That cup is then removed.

• If the cup is “red” it is considered a hit and the team whose cup that it is has to take a shot of liquor. That cup is removed and a empty cup is placed in that spot upside down to mark where a ship was hit.

• If a player sinks a ship, that team gets to shoot again as well as yelling (wastedly) “You drank your battleship!”

• The game is over when all of a team’s ships have been sunk (and 6 shots have been consumed). The losing team must drink the remaining
