a deck of cards and a minimum of two people. but this works better when theres at least 4. and be prepared to get really drunk.

Rules to drink by

Put the cards in the middle of the table/circle. One person starts the game by drawing a card.

Keep the card faced up, the next person draws a card.

WHEN THE SUIT OR NUMBER MATCHES the persons before you, example you have a 4 of diamonds and the person before you has a jack of diamonds, then the next person will count until the highest number between you two (the jack) as fast or as slow as they want while you and the person before you drinks, you can only stop when they reach your number.

WHEN THE CARD DOESN’T MATCH, the person before you flips their card over and the next person will draw a card, if it matches you in suit or number you drink using the rules above.

If the first card matches the second and a third person matches the first two then you all participate in drinking until someone draws a card that doesn’t match.

This is rare and usually only happens with suits, if the matching continues all the way around the circle and comes back to the first person (so everyone has drawn hearts for example, and the first person draws another heart) they have to add their two cards together and that becomes the highest number to count to.

The person with the next turn always counts for the people drinking. In a situation where everyone is drinking, the person who is supposed to count next taps the table for the number instead of counting outloud.

PENALTY DRINK – As soon as your card doesn’t match the person who draws a card after you, you MUST flip your card over. If the cards haven’t been matching and it becomes your next turn to draw a card and you still haven’t flipped your previous one, you have to take a penalty sip.

PREMATURE FLIP – Any person who draws a card when it is not their turn has to drink.
