Setup

* A shot glass and your favourite spirit.
* Some low-value coins such as 1p’s, 2p’s and 5p’s.
* A pot, pan or bowl.
* A sheet of tissue paper or thin newspaper.
* An elastic band.
* A cigarette, or one for each player.
* A glass of Water.

Put the bowl/pot/pan in the middle of the floor or on a table, have all players sit around it. Place the sheet of tissue/newspaper over the top of the bowl and secure it around the edge with an elastic band so the surface is taught. Put an assortment of coins on top of the taught paper. Place the glass of water nearby incase of ignition.

Rules to drink by

Play goes around in a clockwise direction, each player takes a toke of the cigarette to make it nice and hot then then uses the end of the cigarette to burn a hole in the tissue/newspaper. Play continues like this, with each player burning holes around the coins until a coin drops into the bottom of the bowl. When a coin drops, the player who burnt the hole which caused the coin to drop must note the value of the coin and take that many shots. E.g. A 2p coin would mean 2 shots. Generally only 2 coins with the value of 5p are used. If more than one coin drops the value of the highest coin is used to determine the number of shots the player has to take.

Hardcore Version: This play is the same as above, but with the following exceptions: 10p pieces are allowed to be used and if more than 1 coin falls then the value of all the coins added up determines how many shots the player has to take.

Variations: Instead of shots, the players can use the values of the coin to relate to the amount of seconds they have to drink a beer or a spirit and mixer.
