FUBAR – ATL style
Setup
* 1 deck of cards
* Lots of beer
* At least 3 people
Rules to drink by
Setup: arrange the cards in a circle face down and make sure everyone has a beer
How you play: all the players sit in a circle around the cards and everyone takes a turn pulling a card and doing what it means; the game is over when the last King is pulled
Card meanings:
2 – take 2 sips
3 – take 3 sips
4 – take 4 sips
5 – the last person to slap their hand down on the table has to take a sip
6 – distribute 6 sips to the other players (ex. Bob takes 2 and Steve takes 4)
7 – the last person to put their thumb down on the table has to take a sip; the player who pulled the 7 is now “thumb master” and can repeat the above at any time until the next 7 is pulled and a new “thumb master” is named (hint: be sneaky about it, you want to trick the other players into drinking)
8 – distribute 8 sips to the other players
9 – distribute 9 sips to the other players
10 – “Community!” Everyone toasts and takes a sip
Jack – “Jack Back!” the player behind you must take a sip; the player who pulled the card must now make up a rhyme that will continue around the circle until someone repeats the same word or cannot think of another rhyme; the player who messes up must take a sip
Queen – “Queen Gives Head!” The player in front of you must take a sip; the player who pulled the card must now make up a category that will go around the circle until someone messes up and has to drink
King – take 5 sips; if it’s the last king in the deck then the game is over and the player who pulled the king must chug a whole beer!
Ace – “Make a Rule!” Make up any rule to apply to the rest of the game as long as it doesn’t interfere with any other rules. If you break a rule you drink. (example rules: No saying drink, drank, or drunk; or No pointing.)
Play one or two games of this and you’ll be feeling right. This game is alot of fun and it’s a great way to get any party or get-together going! We’ve been playing it for years and we want to pass the good times on to you!
