Setup

Table
Beer in cans
At least 4 players
1 quarter
1 cup

Rules to drink by

To start, the first person fills up the cup with beer. Then he/she spins the quarter and has to drink the cup of beer before the quarter stops spinning or else he/she goes again. When picking up the quarter, you must pick it up with the same hand you drank out of the cup with. It is up to the spinner how much beer to put in the cup, but having a minimum marker on the cup is nice. After the person picks up the quarter, it’s the next person’s turn.

Now, as the game is going, the other players should still be drinking their beers even when it’s not their turn. After finishing your beer, you may slam your can on the quarter while it’s spinning (this is why it may be advantageous to put more beer in your cup when spinning; you get an empty beer can faster). If the quarter is under the can completely, then that can becomes a “landmine” and stays in that spot for the rest of the game. After a “landmine” is put on the table it’s the person who spun the quarters turn again.

If an opponent has empty beer cans waiting to be used, they must keep them on the table, and they can be stolen by other players, given the opponent’s hand is not on his or her empty can(s).

After a while, there will be a ton of beer cans on the table, which will make it difficult to spin the quarter without hitting anything. If the quarter hits any of the cans, it’s fine as long as the spinner can pick up the quarter before it stops spinning. Another stipulation in spinning the quarter is that you can only spin your quarter from directly in front of you on the table.

The game ends when someone quits because they can’t spin the quarter without being able to pick it up. You make allies, enemies, and get wasted.
