OH SHIT!
Setup
You’ll need: A deck of cards, a shot glass, several cans of beer. Game works best with 3 or 4 players.
Setup: Each player needs their own can of beer. Deal 4 cards face down to each player. Spread the remaining cards – face up – into a circular pile on the table (not all the cards need to be visible). In the center of the pile, leave a space that is just large enough for a shot glass to sit on the table without touching any cards (it should be like a 1 inch by 1 inch space… or larger to make it easier). Fill the shot glass with beer at the start of the game.
Rules to drink by
Decide who goes first. That person reveals one of their cards. This person must take a “revolution” for as many cards as are visible in the pile. For example, if the player turns over a 9, and there are two other visible 9’s in the pile, he must make two “revolutions”.
A “REVOLUTION” is as follows:
1. Pick up the beer can with the right hand.
2. Pick up the shot glass and take the shot.
3. Fill the shot glass with beer.
4. Move the shot glass over the pile in a circular movement while verbally saying “Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Shit!”
5. Take the shot.
6. Refill the shot glass and repeat for as many revolutions as determined by their pile matches.
7. Return the filled shot glass to the center of the pile without touching any cards.
8. Put the beer can back on the table.
A revolution MUST be REPEATED if any of the following rules are broken:
-If any rule is done out of order (like putting the beer can down before finishing the turn… or by picking up the shot glass before picking up the beer).
-If the beer can touches the shot glass during pouring (a trick is to indent the can below the mouth piece… it’ll pour smoother).
-If beer is spilled onto the table at anytime.
-If the shot glass touches a card when it’s put back in the center.
-Failure to say “Ohhh Shit” when circling the pile.
When the revolution is successfully completed, the next person turns over a card and it’s their turn. The game starts out easy… but after a few rounds it becomes increasingly more difficult to remember the order and keep coordination… leading to more drinking!
Have Fun!
