One Up One Down

A group of at least 5 people standing in a circle.. beer.. (DUH!) and 2 friends in on the joke (game)

Rules to drink by

This isn’t really a game but it really does piss people off who are not in on it.. especially the “slower” people of the group…those are the ones you want to leave out..
To start off.. tell 2 friends the rules before you play the game… when everyone is just standing there announce you are playing a drinking game called “One Up One Down”.. and call it a pattern game and the pattern is easy to figure out.
OK this is when it begins…they will ask how to play… you say there are only 3 things you can say in the pattern… “One Up One Down” or “Two Up” or “Two Down”, your going first and it goes clockwise in the group.. what you have to do is this.. say you are holding a beer and smoking… the beer is by your side and your taking a puff.. that would be “One Up One Down”.. you look to the next person and say your turn.. where ever their hands are.. say both in their pockets… that would be “Two Down”.. if they are above his chest (E.X. fixing a hat) that would be “Two Up”… if they say it correctly (by guess probably) say good and go the next person.. and where the third persons hands are when it is his turn, that is what he must say, if he gets it wrong, they must drink…this is where your friends come in (Remember, you filled them before you started).. they know the rules and will get it correct when it is their go.. the people that do not know the pattern start to get jealous and pissed…doesn’t sound like fun and really doesn’t get you drunk but is a classic when the people who do not get it start to get frustrated.
