1-2 Decks of cards; depending on the amount of players.
Table and chairs for the players.
Lots of Beers in a cooler beside the table. (Recommended)
Pen and paper to write down the rules. (Also recommended)

Rules to drink by

It seems that there are a ton of rules for this game and I would just like to throw them down and if anyone has anything to add feel free to cut and paste out this page and add them to their own.

~ Rules are to be assigned to a card and the cards placed face down on the table. A person then pulls a card and the corresponding rule is then played. Cards may or may not be placed around a beer or shot and at the end of each turn the player must place the card a top said beeror shot. The person who knocks the cards off must finish the drink. (Works best with a tall bottle of beer) Some common rules are…~

In no particular order:

– Guys drink

– Girls drink

– Give drinks – (Any preset number. Usually the face value of the assigned card)

– Take drinks – (Same as above.)

– Sociable – (Everyone takes a drink)

– Thumb master – (Person who pulled the card is the thumbmaster until the same card is pulled again by another person. The thumbmaster may place his or her thumb where ever they choose and the last person to copy this action must drink.)

– Rhyme time – (Person who pulled the card says a word, then the person to the left says a word that rhymes. Words cannot be repeated, no onomatopoeias, and no purples or oranges as starter words.)

– Story time – (Person says a word, then the person next to him or her repeats the word and adds their own. This goes on until someone screws up.)

– Make a rule – (This one is pretty straight foreward and has many variations. Personal favorites include:
– Little Man (Every time someone drinks they must remove a mini invisible man from the rim of their glass, take a drink, then reseat the little man. Anytime this is forgotten they must drink again. Especially fun when the person forgets numerous times in a row.)
– King rule (When the King drinks; everyone drinks. This may also be played as a card.)
– No swearing
– No pointing
– No saying drink
– No names
– Drink with the opposite hand
– Everyone drinks double
– Basicially anything goes within reason. Depends on who your playing with.)

– Break a rule – (If playing with more than one deck or with someone whoes a dick this card is recommended. The person who picks the card may break one rule of their choise.)

– Bathroom card – (Dangerous when playing with more than one deck, or when playing after breaking the seal, but good for the begining of the night. Only the person with a bathroom card may go to the bathroom with out penalty. This card may be used at any time or may be bartered with any player for a strategic advantage. {ie. Influencing a make a rule.} If a player cannot take it they may use the bathroom but upon return they must chug a beer or a predetermined amount of beer.)

– Never have I ever – (Person starts off by saying never have I ever… then something they know at least someone at the table has done. Everyone who has done what ever was said must drink. Fun to get everyone to drink, or to embarass someone.)

– Questions – (Person who pulled the card starts off by asking a question to anyone at the table. The next person then asks a question to a different person at the table, and so on and so forth until someone screws up.)

– Category – (Person Says a category then the next person names something that falls into that category. ie. Category is bars. People would then have to name off bars that they know without repeating them.

– Association – (Similar to categories except person one says anything then the following person can say anything that is in anyway related to the first thing said. ie. Person one says knots, person two says ties, person three says suits… and so on until someone screws up.)

– Waterfall – (Everyone starts to chug at the same time and the person to the left cannot stop drinking until the person to their right stops drinking. Basicially the person on the end gets screwed because he can’t stop drinking until everyone else stops.)

– 7’s – (everyone starts counting, starting with one, and anytime it comes to a number with a seven in it or is a multipul of seven you have to say fuck then the counting changes direction. ie. people start with 1 then 2-3-4-5-6-fuck, it changes direction then the person who was 6 says 8 then9-10-11-12-13-fuck, direction change and so one. Rarely goes past 14 later on in the night.)

– Quizmaster – (Person is similar to the thumbmaster and has power until the same card is pulled again. Person can ask anyone a question at anytime and if they are answered the “answerie” must drink.)

There are many other variations and rules. Basicially what every you can remember or decide would be fun 4 the night is what you want to choose. Have fun getting smammed and bottoms up!!!!
