Deck of cards with the 8s,9s,10s taken out and an alchoholic beverage of choice. Generally 4-6 players is best.

Rules to drink by

Each card is worth its face value except face cards, which are worth 1/2 each. Aces are worth 1.

Like blackjack, the object is to get as close to 7 1/2 as possible without going over.

The dealer deals one card to a player and one to him or herself, face down. The other player then bets a number of drinks (1-5) and either asks for another card or they can stay. Each card after the first is placed face up, and each the dealer or the other player can ask for more cards until they wish to stay. Whoever is closer to 7 1/2 wins, and the other person must drink the number of drinks that the player bet. Anyone who goes over must turn over his or her first card and drink automatically, and if there is a tie, the dealer drinks.

The deck may be passed after one round.
