Setup

A group of people, the more the better and alcohol.

It’s better to play this game when some people are drunk.

Rules to drink by

Have a group of people stand in a circle, tables help to put drinks down on. The first person starts by tapping either their right or left shoulder and saying 1, then the person next to the shoulder has to tap either their right or left shoulder and say 2. Same goes for 3, 4, 5, and 6. Then the person that has to say 7 has to make their arms parallel horizontally and whatever direction the top hand points is the direction the counting goes. 8 and 9 are the same as 1-6, then the player that has to say 10 points to anyone in the circle and the counting continues. 11 – 16 are the same as 1 – 6, but 17 is the opposite of 7, meaning this time whichever way the bottom hand points is the direction it goes. 18 and 19 are the same as 1-6 and on 20 the person can point to anyone and they get to make a rule. If someone takes too long, they don’t say a number on their turn, or they say a number when it isn’t their turn, they drink. The game then starts over with the player who messed up as 1. It’s really hard to keep track when you’re drunk which is when you drink more.

Interesting rules are reversing numbers like switching 2 and 6, that way every time 2 is supposed to be said, 6 needs to be said instead. Another good one is making a certain player a number every time, that way say the rule is “John is always 3.” That means every time 2 is said, no matter where on the table the counting is, John has to say 3 and tap one of his shoulders. The game is better the faster you go.
