Rules to drink by

One person is the dealer, one person is the drinker. Deal out a row of 7 cards. The first and last 3 are face up, and the middle card is face down. Start on one side and have the drinker say whether the next card in the deck will be higher or lower than the card showing. If they get it right they go onto the next card and guess higher or lower. If they guess wrong, the drink the amount of cards gone through. Ex: If they get it wrong on the first guess they drink 1, second guess drink 2, etc. The name of the game comes from the middle card. This card is face down and the drinker has to guess whether the next card in the pile will be higher or lower than the face down card without seeing it. When the drinker guesses wrong they have to start all over at the beginning of the row again. If they guess wrong on or after the “speedbump” card you place a new card face down in that spot. The game is over when the player guesses right on the last card. Aces can either be predetermined as high or low before the game or if noone says it the first time an Ace comes up, it is whatever makes the guess right. To make the game last longer you can try going back the other way when finished with one way.
