Rules to drink by

The Idea of Tomato Tomato is to get thought as many different Fruit and Vegetables as you can without repeating yourself. The first person start by saying…

“Tomato Tomato..” and then points at someone (with their elbow to comply with international drinking game law) and says another fruit or vegetable twice. For example, the opening throw may be:

“Tomato Tomato,
Carrot, Carrot”

The player pointed at will then repeat the last fruit/Veg twice and then point (with an elbow) to another player, saying another fruit or veg. eg.

“Carrot Carrot,
Aubergine, Aubergine”

Easy, right? WRONG!

The thing which I neglected to mention was that in Tomato Tomato, you are NOT ALLOWED TO SHOW YOUR TEETH AT ANY POINT! Therefore, you must cover your teeth with your lips, speaking as though you have forgotten to put your false teeth in.

This naturally causes much amusement, whereby people laugh, showing their teeth and have to have a drink (although according to International drinking game law, you are not allowed to mention the word drink. Often, if someone shows their teeth the rest of the players point at the offending player with their elbow and say “CONSUME!”)
