Up The River Down The River

Setup

A full deck of cards, A lot of beer, 4-8 people who want to get drunk.

Rules to drink by

designate someone the dealer, and this person deals a card face up around the table. Each player guess the color of the card, if they are correct, they give one player a drink, if they are wrong, they drink one.

Next, the dealer asks hi/low, or whether the next card is higher or lower than the card they already have. If they are right, give two, wrong, take two.

Next, the dealer asks inside/outsidee, or whether the next card is in between or outside the two cards each player already has. Right, give three, wrong, drink three

Next, the dealer asks for a suit, if right, give 4, if wrong, drink 4.

Now you have your raft, and it’s time to see how far you get on the River

Place two rows of cards, anywhere between 6 cards and 10 cards, face down parallel to each other, and place ONE card face down at the end. Designate one river as the GIVE row, and one river as the TAKE row. Begin to flip the cards, and each player gives and takes as their cards are flipped. Can get interesting if you flip a take 8 , and it’s a two… you look down, you have two twos in your hand… drink 16.

Now, there’s the one cup left, it’s the waterfall cup. flip it, whoever has that card drinks their beer down. If no one has it, either everyone drinks their beer, or you begin a traditional waterfall (starting with the dealer, don’t stop drinking until the person next to you is done)
